As Alcohol and Drug Counselors we know that an assessment is done first to target treatment problems(s) for the individual, being concrete and specific.

 

However, while interacting with the individual hopefully they will choose to be referred to a treatment facility of their choice.

 

This is a faith based ministry therefore in the group they will discuss their hopes, accountability resources, strengths, and vision. Being in the atmosphere will help soem of them to know that many who have their faith in Christ struggle with some of the same negative behaviors.  There will be people of different faiths in the group.
